Valentines Day Heart Weavings

These pictures our a little dark and I didn't take many of them, but I wanted to show my appreciation toward my first grade students artwork.  

The students had fun stamping different items onto their piece of paper they got the week before.  They made circles and squares, hearts and stars, and they also put some very random animal stamps on their paper just for fun.  We used purple, white, and red as our holiday colors and I think they turned out pretty good!!!

At the very end of the project I laminated they hearts so they would stay together and the students didn't have to worry about glueing pieces down.  Overall it was a very quick project that I would do over again in a couple of years!!!!!  Always looking for new Valentine Projects though!!
